Why Parents Choose Capoeira
One extraordinary activity. Countless lifelong benefits.
Unlike many children’s activities, Capoeira develops the whole child.
Every class combines martial arts, gymnastics, music, rhythm and teamwork in a fun, inclusive environment where children build confidence while developing essential movement skills.
Children leave every class stronger, happier and more confident than when they arrived.
Build the ABCs of Movement
The foundation for every active child.
Every Capoeira class develops the ABCs of Movement:
🟢 Agility
Learning to move quickly, react confidently and change direction with ease.
🔵 Balance
Developing body control, posture and stability through playful movement.
🟡 Coordination
Building the ability to move different parts of the body together with confidence and precision.
These fundamental movement skills support children not only in Capoeira, but also in football, rugby, dance, athletics, gymnastics, climbing and many other physical activities.

Game
We play capoeira, not fight!
Capoeira is a very playful activity, it has elements of martial art and can be used as a self defence but more importantly it teaches children how to look after each other and be safe!
Flexibility and Acrobatics
Let’s develop through Capoeira
Your child doesn’t need to be flexible or know acrobatics to train Capoeira. Our experience teachers will develop this in a safe and fun way!

Music
Music is a vital part of Capoeira
Capoeira cannot exist without music, singing songs and making music with instruments. Your child will learn how to play berimbau, atabaque drum and pandeiro – tambourine.

Our Capoeira teaching follows the tradition of Mestre Papa-Leguas and his international group TUCUM. Professora Risada (Kasia) and Professor Pingado (Grześ) train under their master, Mestre Medusa, who in turn was trained by Mestre Papa-Leguas — forming the Capoeira lineage that guides and inspires our work.
