Afro-Brazilian Festival 2025
We are currently piloting the concept of an Afro-Brazilian Festival as an expanded version of our annual Capoeira Batizado. Thanks to Local Events Open Fund from The City of Edinburgh Council this pilot combines music, dance, and elements rooted in wider Afro-Brazilian traditions. The strong response from participants and audiences confirms the potential to grow more, adding new strands of visual arts, food, and storytelling in the next edition.
