What we offer?
We would like to offer your child an opportunity to try and fall in love with Capoeira, a Brazilian Martial Art. We are a small team of talented Capoeira teachers with a wide range of skills and experience. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to meet you and inviting you to our community.
We have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays (waiting list) at 8am for all primary school ages at the James Gillespie’s Primary School.
The classes are paid in block bookings and costs £7.50 per class. We run classes accordingly to school terms so Autumn term is from mid-August to Christmas, Winter term is from New Year to Easter, Spring term is from Easter to Summer. If your child start in the middle of the term you only pay for the remaining classes in that term.

Game
We play capoeira, not fight!
Capoeira is a very playful activity, it has elements of martial art and can be used as a self defence but more importantly it teaches children how to look after each other and be safe!
Flexibility and Acrobatics
Let’s develop through Capoeira
Your child doesn’t need to be flexible or know acrobatics to train Capoeira. Our experience teachers will develop this in a safe and fun way!
Music
Music is a vital part of Capoeira
Capoeira cannot exist without music, singing songs and making music with instruments. Your child will learn how to play berimbau, atabaque drum and pandeiro – tambourine.
